Hello and welcome!
Everybody needs professional help in their lives at some point or another. We don’t think twice before consulting a doctor, dentist or optician, but often, with emotional and psychological problems, people would rather struggle on, putting a brave face on things. Asking for help isn’t always easy, but is no less significant than asking for help with a broken leg!
The sooner we can admit that we need help, the sooner we can begin to address those aspects of our lives which make it so difficult to move forward in new and positive directions. This is the hardest step, but one which you may well have already taken.
There are many reasons for seeking a counsellor. You may feel you have low self-esteem and want to understand the reason for it – to turn it around. You may be trying to cope with grief, loss or bereavement. You may be feeling depressed, anxious, angry, stressed or be having difficulties in your relationships.
Perhaps you are looking for someone to accompany you as you take your next step, to help you to bring about a meaningful new direction in your life or to cope with change in a fast-moving world.
Whatever it may be, I can help you to take the next step.
